Domain name redirect instructions
Follow the 3 simple steps below to point your existing domain name to GlobalX hosting and your newly built website.
1.
Contact your domain name provider (CrazyDomains, GoDaddy, Melbourne IT etc.) and as them to create a CNAME record for the 'www' version of your website pointing to globalxsites.wpengine.com.
For example a CNAME record:
www.yourdomain.com pointing to globalxsites.wpengine.com
2.
Contact your domain name provider (CrazyDomains, GoDaddy, Melbourne IT etc.) and as them to forward the 'non www' version of your website to the 'www' version of your site.
For example:
www.yourdomain.com forwarded to globalxsites.wpengine.com so that when someone types in yourdomain.com they arrive at www.yourdomain.com
AND...
Create a CNAME Record for the non www version of your site pointing to globalxsites.wpengine.com
OR...
Create an A Record for the non www version of your site pointing to the IP address: 35.189.46.151
3.
Notify us using the form below to let us know that you have redirected your domain so we can make the necessary changes from our end. It can take up to 24 hours for the redirects to take place depending on your hosting provider settings.
